We are seeking an experienced and licensed Supervising Physician to oversee and support our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs), in delivering high-quality care. This is an as-needed position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment. This position is structured as a 1099 independent contractor engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and consultation to APPs, ensuring compliance with Nevada state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Supervise APPs in accordance with all applicable state regulatory requirements, including any limitations related to physician-to-APP supervision ratios or supervisory capacity.
  • Review and sign off on medical charts, as required.
  • Collaborate with APPs on clinical decision-making, offering guidance on patient care plans and treatment strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and ethical guidelines for APP practice in Nevada.

Qualifications:

  • Medical License: Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in Nevada.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Availability: Flexibility to provide supervision and chart review on an as-needed basis.
