Position Summary:
Trend Micro is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer who is passionate about cybersecurity and AI-powered platforms, thrives in direct customer engagement, and excels at helping organizations solve complex challenges. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders across Solutions Engineering, Product, Channel, Marketing, and Customer Success to guide customers along their security journey while expanding the reach of our platform.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will influence outcomes across the entire customer lifecycle by retaining, expanding, and acquiring business through expert guidance, compelling demos, and strategic consultation. You will serve as the bridge between customer needs and platform capabilities, powering long-term value, adoption, and advocacy.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise customers and prospects, guiding them through the evaluation, adoption, and expansion of our cybersecurity platform.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer goals, challenges, and security requirements to align platform capabilities with meaningful outcomes.
  • Lead impactful demos, presentations, and technical storytelling that clearly articulate value and build confidence across technical and executive audiences.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with strategic partners to accelerate revenue and broaden market reach.
  • Represent the company as a thought leader at industry events, panels, webinars, and field engagements.
  • Develop high-quality enablement of content demos, videos, architectural diagrams, and training assets to support internal teams and partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Channel, and Customer Success to ensure aligned execution and exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide product feedback and innovation insights to Product Management based on customer needs, technical gaps, and emerging market trends.
  • Lead and support Proof of Concepts (POCs) that demonstrate measurable technical and business value, ensuring alignment with stakeholder outcomes.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of platform capabilities, including beta features, upcoming enhancements, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Travel within the U.S. for customer engagements, industry events, partner meetings, and strategic field initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, AI, cloud, networking, systems engineering, or related technical fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales roles.
  • Proven experience working with technical decision-makers and executives in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Broad technical acumen across cybersecurity, cloud architecture, networking, AI, risk visibility, and IT modernization.
  • Experience designing/architecting solutions in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-native environments.
  • Ability to rapidly learn modern technologies and thrive in a fast-evolving cybersecurity landscape.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives.
  • Proven experience and passion for public speaking, live demos, and customer education.

Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience working in fast-paced SaaS or cybersecurity startup environments.
  • Familiarity with XDR, SIEM, CSPM, CNAPP, or modern detection/security posture technologies.
