Job Description LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Business Analyst - ServiceNow & Procurement for a 1-year contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Ottawa preffered - Open to remote Key Tasks Implementation Planning Support the development of project documentation including scope, requirements, use cases, test cases, and training materials as required Provide effort estimates for business analysis activities and support resource planning inputs by coordinating with internal and external project team members Requirements and Business Analysis Lead and perform core business analysis activities including understanding business goals, setting the project vision, and managing the delivery of a product or service fit for purpose Gather, analyze, and document procurement requirements and workflows including BRDs, user stories, and As-Is / To-Be process maps Ensure requirements are traceable, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives and system capabilities through a documented process Track and follow up on requirements-related tasks, decisions, and dependencies Stakeholder Engagement and Facilitation Plan, facilitate, and actively participate in workshops, meetings, and working sessions with stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, Legal, IM/IT, integrators, project managers, other business analysts, change management resources, and any other functional areas or third parties Utilize collaboration and documentation tools including Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Miro to capture, maintain, and communicate requirements, decisions, and workshop outputs Liaise between the Procurement team and other business and technical teams (internal and third parties), ensuring clear communication, alignment, and timely resolution of issues Provide status inputs and requirements progress updates to the project manager for inclusion in project reporting and to the Manager, Finance Services and Facilities as requested Testing and Quality Assurance Support Support all phases of testing and quality assurance including test strategy and test plan development, test case and script creation, coordination and execution of system, integration, and user acceptance testing, defect identification, logging, tracking, and resolution support, and validation of fixes and overall solution quality Ensure testing activities align with defined requirements and acceptance criteria Use Jira or equivalent to track tasks, defects, manage test execution, and maintain traceability between requirements and test execution Training and Change Support Support the planning and execution of training activities including identification of training needs and audiences, development of training materials and user guides, and facilitation of training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops Collaborate with change management resources to support user adoption and readiness Deployment and Post Go-Live Support Support the development of deployment, go-live, and post go-live artifacts Support go-live readiness, execution, and stabilization activities Risk and Issue Management Manage risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities Proactively manage and communicate issues and dependencies including status and recommended actions to the project manager and Manager, Finance Services and Facilities Documentation, Deliverables, and Knowledge Transfer Develop, maintain, and manage all BA documentation and artifacts including BRDs, process maps, user stories, test cases, and training materials within client infrastructure throughout the engagement Plan, prepare, and execute ongoing knowledge transfer to the Procurement team and other client team members Additional Activities Provide additional implementation support activities as required to ensure successful delivery of the procurement modules and broader ESM initiative Key Qualifications Minimum 10 years as a Busines Analyst Minimum 5 years of experience delivering ServiceNow implementation projects Experience working within small, lean project teams where the BA is expected to wear multiple hats and operate with a high degree of autonomy Qualifications Proven experience delivering business analysis in finance and procurement-related system implementations, including strong knowledge of source-to-pay, vendor management, contract lifecycle, and financial workflows (PR-PO-invoice) Demonstrated hands-on experience with ServiceNow procurement-related modules including Source-to-Pay (S2P), Contract Management, and Customer Service Management (CSM) Experience aligning ServiceNow to procurement policies and approval authorities Experience supporting requirements definition, data mapping, and workflow design for integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems such as ERP/finance tools (Dynamics 365 / SparkRock), document management platforms (SharePoint, OneDrive), and low-code platforms (Power Platform) Demonstrated ability to translate procurement and cross-functional business requirements into build-centric deliverables including process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, RTMs, and functional/non-functional specifications Experience building and supporting testing strategy development, test case creation, UAT coordination, and defect triaging Experience creating knowledge transfer artifacts, training materials, and user guides that support go-live readiness and business adoption Experience working within Agile, hybrid, or waterfall PM delivery frameworks including sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer (strong asset) Experience supporting organizational change management activities (asset) Bilingual French/English (rated asset) Proficiency with Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams, Miro, and Jira Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
