• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for clients facing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Tailor your therapeutic approach to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with their goals.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and educators, to provide holistic care that addresses every aspect of a client's well-being.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic health records, complying with all relevant legal requirements and ethical standards in documentation.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision and professional development workshops to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care.
• Provide crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments as necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients, enabling timely referrals when higher levels of care are needed.

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
• Valid licensure as a mental health counselor within the state of Massachusetts.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills that foster a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Proficiency in technology, particularly electronic health record documentation, enabling efficient tracking of client progress and treatment adjustments.

• Experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is preferred, providing insights into the unique challenges faced by clients from underserved populations.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques.
• A strong interest in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, or additional training in specialized areas of mental health.
