Creation Technologies is seeking a highly analytical and compliance focused FP&A Manager, Contract Costing & Pricing Compliance to play a critical role in supporting our growing portfolio of government and regulated industry customers. This individual contributor position serves as a trusted advisor to finance, business development, operations, and program management teams, ensuring that pricing, costing, and proposal activities meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance and financial integrity.
In this role, you will lead the review and validation of contract pricing and cost proposals, ensuring compliance with customer Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), applicable agency supplements, and company policies. You will provide expert guidance on cost allowability, cost and pricing data requirements, and government contracting best practices while helping the organization mitigate risk and strengthen compliance across the contract lifecycle.
This is a high visibility opportunity for a finance professional who thrives at the intersection of financial analysis, government contracting, compliance, and strategic business partnership. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to support competitive, compliant, and financially sound proposals that contribute to the long term success of our customers and business.
This is a remote individual contributor role that can be based anywhere in the United States. Candidates must be eligible to work in compliance with ITAR requirements and be willing to travel approximately 25% to 30% as needed to support business and customer initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

  • Advise pricing and cost support functions from pre-RFP activities through proposal negotiations and customer delivery to ensure cost and price quote encompass technical elements in accordance with the customers' Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications,Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and applicable agency supplements, any other applicable requirements pertaining to cost or pricing data requirements, cost allowability and Cost Accounting Standards, and company policies.
  • Plan, execute, and ensure delivery of high-quality finance compliance, including assessing audit readiness, performing periodic internal reviews, making recommendations, identifying root causes of control issues, and implementingenhanced controls and compliance to mitigate risk and improve processes.
  • Support government (or prime) compliance efforts and monitoring, including:direct and indirect rate development and substantiation, REA (Request for Equitable Adjustment) submissions, ICE (Incurred Cost Submissions), DCAA compliance (accounting system audits).
  • Act as Finance lead on all external government-related contract audits, including proposal audits, forward rate audits, incurred cost audits, and others.
  • Provide site business unit teams and regional teams with quote and cost tracking, analysis, and support to guide quoting and costing process improvements.
  • Stay informed on government requirements to provide input on product pricing and costing strategies.
  • Collaborate with finance disciplines such as controllership, analytics, systems, and continuous improvement to support overall business performance.
  • Assist in developing and updating policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+years of experience in an FP&A or a related accounting role.
  • Experience in federal government contracting environment and strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations and agency supplements, FAR Part 15, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), DCAA and DCMA audits, certified cots and pricing data requirements and reviews, and direct and indirect rate structures.
  • Effective project management to various assignments and implementations to improve the technical and operational effectiveness of our internal controls & compliance.
  • Experience in a global manufacturing and supply chain environment. Standard costing environment preferred.
  • Experience working with a SaaS CPM Solution such as Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, etc. and Oracle experience a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with proposal development, cost development, and estimating/quoting/pricing processes.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $125,000-$145,000 USD per year.Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and hours worked.
