We live our Core Values of Uncompromising Integrity, Ecstatic Clients, and Empowered Team Members by operating with trust, accountability, and a "we before me" mindset. We pursue Innovation and Profitable Growth through continuous improvement and thoughtful problem-solving, and we believe work should include Fun-celebrating success, recognizing our people, and maintaining healthy work-life balance.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a foundational role in building our sales development function from the ground up. You'll manage both inbound lead qualifications and strategic outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach. Rather than focusing on high-volume cold outreach, this role emphasizes thoughtful, relationship-driven engagement with a highly targeted audience of healthcare finance executives.

This is a newly established function within the company, so we need someone who can hit the ground running from day one - bringing prior SDR experience and a strong work ethic to consistently execute outbound and inbound motions. As our process matures, your day-to-day results and hands-on experience will naturally inform how we refine outreach and workflows, but the priority is execution first. This role offers a clear path for growth into future sales or marketing positions as our team scales.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Generation

  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and phone.
  • Build relationships with prospective healthcare organizations through personalized, consultative outreach.
  • Identify and engage qualified decision-makers within target accounts.

Inbound Lead Qualification

  • Respond to and qualify inbound leads.
  • Assess prospect fit and schedule discovery meetings for the appropriate Account Executive.
  • Maintain timely follow-up and nurture opportunities through the early stages of the sales cycle.

Meeting & Relationship Management

  • Schedule discovery/introductory calls, meetings, demos, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop trusted relationships with healthcare finance leaders through consistent communication and follow-up.

CRM & Sales Operations

  • Maintain accurate activity, notes, and opportunity tracking within Salesforce.
  • Utilize sales engagement platforms such as SalesLoft (or similar) to execute outreach campaigns.
  • Monitor outreach performance and provide feedback on campaign effectiveness.

Process Improvement

  • Contribute ideas to improve outbound strategies, messaging, workflows, and SDR best practices.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Client Success teams to continuously optimize the sales development process.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-3+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or outbound prospecting.
  • Experience selling into healthcare, healthcare technology, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), financial services, or another complex B2B industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience engaging executive-level buyers through outbound prospecting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling abilities.
  • Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as SalesLoft, Outreach, Apollo, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Self-starter who thrives in an evolving environment.
  • Comfortable helping build and improve sales processes.
  • Professional, polished communicator capable of engaging senior executives.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to contribute beyond daily outreach activities.
  • Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS & PREREQUISITES
  • Practices and adheres to EnableComp's Core Values, Vision and Mission.
  • Strong familiarity with the healthcare revenue cycle, reimbursement processes, and the challenges faced by healthcare providers in optimizing financial performance.
  • Hands-on individual contributor, able to build strong relationships at multiple levels internally and with potential and existing clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in partnering and influencing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities and set and achieve goals/objectives.
  • Some travel required (less than 30%), primarily for occasional team, client meetings, trade shows/conferences, or company offsites.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods; standard office or remote work environment.
