Duties
Help

• You will provide non-clinical, trauma-informed crisis intervention, safety planning, and risk screening for adult victims of sexual assault while maintaining strict confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive CUI and PII.
• You will guide victims through Restricted and Unrestricted reporting options, assist with DD Form 2910 documentation, and prepare the Commander Recommendation package within 24 hours of Unrestricted reports.
• You will coordinate warm hand-offs and tailored referrals to military and civilian medical, mental health, and legal resources (including SVC/VLC) utilizing a "No Wrong Door" approach.
• You will manage case files, develop detailed case management plans, and collaborate with Case Management Groups and High-Risk Response Teams to mitigate risks and support victim self-determination.
• You will assist the SARC with community outreach, SAPR training logistics, stakeholder coordination, and local public awareness campaigns, including Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month events.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
• You must obtain and maintain an active D-SAACP certification in accordance with (IAW) Section 584 of Public Law 112-81 and DoD Instruction (DoDI) 6495.03 and any subsequent policy updates applicable to this program.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
For GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applies varied methods of sexual assault victim advocacy-including crisis intervention, risk evaluation, and needs analysis-to provide tailored, safe, and effective support, 2) Leverages comprehensive knowledge of SAPR program policies, goals, and community networks to connect personnel with essential liaison and advocacy resources, and 3) Implements and delivered specialized sexual assault training and briefs utilizing established educational techniques and best practices.

Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual:

• Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR
• Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR
• Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required specialized experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position:
GS-11

• Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position OR
• Successful completion of 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree. OR
• A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

GS-09

• Successful completion of a a master's or equivalent graduate degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position OR
• Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree. OR
• A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

This announcement uses the Sexual Assault Program Response Workforce direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service
Several vacancies may be filled.
No PCS cost will be paid.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
If selected below the full performance level, you may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.
A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
