Mister Sparky Electric is seeking an experienced Master Electrician to serve as the Qualifying Individual and Electrical Compliance Advisor for our growing residential electrical services business.
The ideal candidate is a former electrical contractor, electrical business owner, inspector, foreman, project manager, or master electrician who values professionalism, safety, and helping build the next generation of electrical service companies.
If you are retired or semi-retired professionals or a master electrician who want to remain connected to the electrical industry while enjoying a flexible schedule and meaningful involvement. This could be a great fit.
This is not a daily field position and does not require regular physical labor.
About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional who can provide guidance, oversight, mentorship, pulling permits and licensing support as our company continues to grow throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.
Responsibilities

  • Serve as the designated Qualifying Individual for the Philadelphia Electrical Contractor License
  • Maintain Philadelphia Master Electrician credentials in good standing ( If you have another state license, you must pass Philadelphia Master before accepting offer)
  • Build Checklist for permit and local code compliance
  • Provide code compliance and permitting guidance
  • Pull permit, Review licensing, permitting, and inspection matters when needed
  • Participate in periodic compliance and safety reviews
  • Be reasonably available by phone, email, or video conference during normal business hours
  • Assist management with Philadelphia L&I questions and compliance matters
  • Review job documentation and project records when requested
  • Attend occasional meetings, inspections, or site visits if necessary
  • Help and support a local business grow if you have time or retired and ready to support
  • This position will be reporting to the GM

Compensation

  • Monthly Retainer: $1500 to 2,500 per month
  • Includes up to 20 hours of support per month
  • Additional support beyond 20 hours compensated separately
  • Annual Performance bonus

    • Compliance audits
    • Special projects
    • Emergency support
