Position Overview

We invite passionate and dedicated mental health professionals to join our team at Family Rethink Counseling, LLC as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. This full-time remote role is essential for providing high-quality counseling services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our community in Seattle, Washington. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your expertise as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to support our clients in their journey to mental wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that integrate client goals and evidence-based interventions.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions either via video or phone, effectively addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed, implementing de-escalation techniques and ensuring a safe environment for clients experiencing acute distress.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough client records, adhering to ethical standards and all local, state, and federal regulations regarding confidentiality and data protection.
  • Collaborate closely with other health care professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate client care and referrals as necessary.
  • Engage in continuous learning by participating in training programs, workshops, and peer supervision to stay current with best practices in the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or equivalent higher education in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Washington State licensure as an LPC, LICSW, or LMFT, or eligibility for such licensure.
  • A proven track record of providing effective counseling services to individuals, families, and groups across different settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds and experiences.
  • Commitment to cultural competence, affirming care, and client-centered approaches in therapy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, crucial for both therapy sessions and documentation.
  • An ability to balance independent work with collaborative practices in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using teletherapy tools and platforms for virtual sessions.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Experience working with underrepresented populations, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and families in crisis.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with annual compensation between USD 115,000 and 130,000 based on experience and qualifications.
