PUBLIC HEALTH RESEARCH SCIENTIST
ICF is seeking a well-organized and detail-oriented candidate with public health research and evaluation experience to support federal public health evaluation projects.
This role will work remote in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations of federal initiatives.
  • Develop evaluation plans, logic models, evaluation questions, data collection and analysis plans, and evaluation reports.
  • Contribute to the development of reports, manuscripts, briefing materials, etc.

Required Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in public health, public administration, health policy, data analytics, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in research, program evaluation, data collection, or data analysis within public-sector, healthcare, or grant-funded environments.
  • Experience with public health program evaluation, including development of evaluation plans, logic models, data collection and analysis plans, and reports.
  • Experience with government-funded national program evaluations.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office 365 and Windows, including experience using Excel.
  • This position requires a HHS (Health and Human Services) background check. Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation to obtain clearance prior to start date.

Preferred Experience:
  • Professional or educational experience in diabetes or other chronic disease prevention.
  • Experience with using a statistical package (e.g., R, Stata, SAS).
  • Experience using qualitative analysis software (e.g., MAXQDA, ATLAS.ti).
  • Experience with CDC or other federal health agencies.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$61,232.00 - $104,094.00
