Position Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and well-connected Senior Business Developer to lead originations growth within our Residential Transition Lending (RTL) platform. This individual will play a critical role in sourcing, developing, and managing relationships that generate consistent deal flow across fix-and-flip, ground-up construction, and bridge loan products.

The ideal candidate brings an established network of home builders, real estate investors, and realtors, along with a proven ability to originate and close lending opportunities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

ยท Business Development & Origination

o Source and originate RTL loan opportunities including fix-and-flip, new construction, and bridge financing.

o Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow loan volume within assigned territory or vertical.

o Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified borrowers and projects.

ยท Relationship Management

o Build and maintain long-term relationships with:

ยง Residential home builders (spec and custom)

ยง Real estate investors and developers

ยง Real estate agents and broker networks

ยง Mortgage brokers and referral partners

o Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and partners.

ยท Market Expansion

o Identify new markets, partnerships, and channels to drive growth.

o Attend industry events, networking functions, and local real estate meetups to expand brand presence.

ยท Deal Structuring & Execution

o Work closely with underwriting and credit teams to structure competitive and profitable loan terms.

o Guide borrowers through the loan process from initial inquiry to closing.

o Ensure a seamless borrower experience.

ยท Performance Tracking

o Meet or exceed monthly and annual origination targets.
