Senior Full Stack .NET Developer 

LaGrange, OH | Full-Time | On-Site Or Remote 

Build Software That Matters 

SpaceBound is a growing technology company serving B2C, B2B, and Government/Education markets. We're looking for a talented .NET Developer who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable applications, and creating integrations that drive business operations on 10 major marketplace platforms and suppliers. 

You'll work on web applications, APIs, backend services, Windows applications, and eCommerce integrations while helping shape the future of our technology platform. 

What You'll Do 

  • Develop and maintain C#/.NET web applications, APIs, web services, Windows applications, console applications, and utility libraries
  • Responsible for some peer review and all deployments
  • Build integrations with distributors, marketplaces, and shipping carriers
  • Work with REST APIs, SOAP services, SDKs, XML, and JSON
  • Gather requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Lead Developer to define architecture and technical solutions
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and documentation
  • Create clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Thoroughly test and validate code before deployment
  • Optimize SQL Server databases and application performance
  • Research and implement technologies that improve efficiency and scalability
  • Take ownership of projects from concept through deployment
  • This position direct reports to the CIO 

Required Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong C# and .NET/.NET Core development experience
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills
  • Experience with: 
  • REST APIs and web services
  • SOAP services
  • XML and JSON serialization
  • Entity Framework and/or ADO.NET
  • SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Git or TFVC source control
  • Experience developing: 
  • Web applications
  • Web services
  • Windows Forms and/or WPF applications
  • Console applications
  • Experience with modern front-end development: 
  • React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Responsive web design
  • Experience writing unit tests and utilizing code coverage tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Knowledge of latest AI technology is a plus and will utilized/integrated in the future
  • ASP.NET MVC and Razor
  • TypeScript
  • MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
  • AWS and/or Azure development experience
  • Amazon SQS or Azure Service Bus
  • Asynchronous and multithreaded programming experience
