Job description

Doximity is transforming the healthcare industry. Join our mission to help every physician be more productive and provide better care for their patients. As medicine's largest network in the United States, there's an elevated level of responsibility in everything we do. We don't take that responsibility lightly and are committed to building diverse teams with an inclusive culture that can make a direct impact on the healthcare system.
One of Doximity's core values is stretching ourselves. Even if you don't check off all the boxes below we encourage you to apply. Doximity is full of exceptional people who bring their own unique experiences to work every day and make us all better for it!

As a Data Analyst on the Reporting Partnerships team, you will be an integral part of our Commercial Data and Analytics organization, working to generate physician-level reporting that powers client measurement and analysis.

This role can be filled in our San Francisco headquarters OR remotely in the U.S.

How you'll make an impact

  • Generate and maintain Python-based client reporting used to power client measurement.
  • Deliver new Python scripts for reporting use cases, from adapting existing client templates to building custom client scripts end-to-end.
  • Conduct daily QA and act as a point-of-contact for teammates' SQL and Python questions, helping raise the overall bar for code quality and consistency.
  • Create and maintain both Python and SQL-based aggregate reports as needed.

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of professional experience working in business analytics or performance reporting.
  • Excellent SQL skills to create and evaluate complex statements involving numerous tables and data relationships.
  • Fluency in Python, with hands-on experience building, maintaining, and debugging scripts for data processing or reporting.
  • Experience stepping into client-facing roles, especially to translate technical solutions for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to stay ahead of multiple deadlines at once.
  • A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset: comfortable working through scripting updates largely on your own, escalating questions or issues when necessary.
  • A continuous-improvement focus, always looking to automate operational processes, elevate code quality, and deliver faster, more accurate reporting while strengthening value to clients.

More about the Reporting Partnerships team

Below are additional core values specific to the Reporting Partnerships Team.

  • Precision: Our team's deliverables power client analysis and inform real-world decisions. A successful candidate will triple check their work and their teammates' work, holding all of us to the highest data quality standards.
  • Curiosity: Continuous learning is a cornerstone at Doximity and curious individuals thrive here. We're looking for someone who is never satisfied with the status quo.
  • Accountability: Challenges are opportunities.  We face them head-on, learn from them, and come out stronger. Successful candidates will be solutions-oriented with a drive to keep improving.
  • Better Together: We strongly value partnership and mutual respect among colleagues. We find our best outcomes come from collaboration and thoughtful input toward our shared goals.
  • Cutting-Edge Tech: We are passionate about developing industry-leading solutions, defining best practices, and setting the gold standard for the data we provide. We embrace the best tools for the job, including AI-assisted coding and emerging technologies that help us work smarter.
