Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and comprehensive evaluations to accurately assess clients’ mental health concerns and needs.
• Create tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aimed at addressing their specific goals and enhancing their mental wellness.
• Provide individual therapy sessions to adult clients, employing evidence-based methodologies and solution-focused interventions.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to conduct virtual therapy sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients.
• Deliver crisis intervention services promptly when required, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
• Participate in continuous professional development by engaging in workshops, training, and peer consultations to stay current with mental health advancements and therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse population of adult clients dealing with a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges. Your primary goal will be to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel valued and understood. Effective communication and empathy will play a vital role in establishing trust and rapport, allowing for successful therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and their families in the therapeutic process.
• Possess compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients’ circumstances.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills essential for managing client appointments and documentation efficiently.
• No history of disciplinary action against your professional license.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy to adult clients.
• Experience in utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions effectively.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and assessment tools is highly desirable.
