Job description

Walton Signage is a well-respected, progressive company in the signage industry. The Company serves large, national or corporate accounts with turnkey installation of high quality signage systems and has been listed three times as one of Inc. Magazine's fastest growing companies.

This is a remote position.  We are currently seeking a VP of Sales - Interior Projects (Custom Journey, Fixtures, Graphics, & Installation) who is responsible for driving strategic revenue growth across interior branded environment programs, with a focus on customer journey solutions, retail and commercial fixtures, interior graphics, wayfinding, and fullservice installation. This role leads the development of national and enterprise accounts by positioning the company as a singlesource provider for integrated brand implementation, inclusive of both interior and exterior products and services.  

The VP will partner closely with program management, design, manufacturing, and installation teams to deliver cohesive, scalable programs that activate a brand's identity across all physical touchpoints.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Lead nationallevel sales strategy for interior environments, including customer journey mapping, fixture programs, interior signage/graphics, and installation services.

Develop and close enterprise opportunities by promoting the company's unified capability to execute full exterior + interior programs under one roof.

Consistently achieve revenue and margin targets through strategic account growth and category expansion.

Identify new market segments and build pathways for penetration.

Demonstrates a full knowledge of interior requirements for products and floor plans related to the American Disabilities Act.

Demonstrates a strong understanding of interior product manufacturing methods inclusive of material types and their applications.

Maintain and expand relationships with key decision makers across architecture, design, brand, procurement, construction, and facilities teams.

Shape customer program strategies from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer experience goals.

Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop proposals, program budgets, fixture packages, rollout plans, and installation strategies.

Guide customers through the full lifecycle of branded environment programs-from assessment and planning to manufacturing, fulfillment, and national deployment.

Partner with program management, engineering, design, and operations to ensure project feasibility, pricing accuracy, and seamless execution.

Advocate for customer needs inside the organization and ensure internal teams have clarity on scope, budget, and performance expectations.

Manage pipelines, forecasts, and key account plans using CRM tools and internal reporting systems.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, project opportunities, and revenue projections.

Lead strategic RFP responses, national program proposals, and competitive positioning efforts.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Achievement of revenue growth targets, margin expectations, and new account conversions.

Expansion of interiorfocused program categories within existing national accounts.

Maintaining exemplary brand representation, ethical sales conduct, and compliance with company standards.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES:

This role may lead sales team members or business development resources as assigned.

Provides direction, mentorship, and performance guidance to support team growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture/Design, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or program leadership within retail environments, fixtures, graphics, commercial interiors, or related industries.

Proven success selling complex, multisite programs to enterpriselevel clients.

Strong understanding of fixture systems, interior signage/graphics production, retail customer journeys, and installation logistics.

Ability to articulate value for integrated exterior + interior program delivery.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations.

Strong analytical skills for pricing, margin management, and program scoping.

Ability to define complex problems, evaluate data, and guide solution development.

Proficiency in CRM systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequently required to sit, use hands for computer and phone work, and communicate clearly.

Occasional travel, site visits, and field walks required.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Typical office environment with periodic time spent in manufacturing facilities, customer sites, construction sites, and installation environments.

Moderate noise levels; travel required as customer programs dictate.
