Job description

Prime Communications is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design and deliver practical training that strengthens sales execution, employee readiness, and the customer experience across the organization. This role partners with field sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business goals and performance gaps into engaging, measurable training.
This role partners with stakeholders to build engaging training using Articulate Rise and AI tools, including AI trainer agents for field use. The ideal candidate is energized by a performance-driven sales culture, adapts quickly, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct needs assessments with stakeholders and field leaders to identify training requirements, skill gaps, and sales performance opportunities.
  • Partner with sales, compliance, IT, and operations to align training to business objectives.
  • Build interactive e-learning modules in Articulate Rise using sound instructional design methods (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, microlearning).
  • Use AI tools to speed up content development and course updates.
  • Build and maintain AI-driven trainer agents - such as roleplay/coaching bots or on-demand Q&A assistants - for field coaching and support.
  • Develop and maintain training on sales strategy, product/systems knowledge, and compliance.
  • Keep all training materials and AI agents current as products, systems, policies, and business priorities change.
  • Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual sessions for groups of 10-50, including roleplays, practice, feedback, and coaching that build confidence in customer-facing sales situations.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using measures such as ramp time, sales productivity, behavior adoption, knowledge retention, and field leader feedback; use findings to recommend improvements.
  • Independently manage multiple training projects and shifting priorities.
  • Maintain training content and completion tracking in the LMS.
  • Other job duties as apply.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, HR, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or Training.
  • Hands-on experience with Articulate Rise or similar authoring tools.
  • Familiarity with instructional design methods (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, microlearning) and adult learning principles.
  • Experience conducting needs assessments to identify training gaps.
  • Experience using AI tools for content creation and/or building AI trainer agents/chatbots.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and make it practical for a sales environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across departments.
  • Experience using business and sales performance measures to evaluate training impact and guide improvements.

Preferred
  • Experience in a sales-driven or telecommunications environment.
  • Familiarity with compliance/regulatory training.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
