Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Anderson Valley Mental Health Center, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and documenting treatment plans and clinical notes for Utilization Review to ensure compliance and quality assurance.

  • Researching and planning new or enhanced program services to better meet patient needs, securing necessary approvals and implementing effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily interact with patients experiencing end-of-life challenges, requiring sensitive and compassionate engagement. Your work will involve not only working with patients but also providing essential support to their families during difficult transitions. You will utilize your skills to assess the mental health needs of individuals facing terminal illnesses, applying interventions to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program.
  • Active and unrestricted California Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, ideally with a focus on hospice or end-of-life care.
  • Clinical experience in a social service or healthcare setting with hands-on case management skills.
  • Proven conflict management capabilities, enabling you to effectively navigate challenging conversations and emotionally charged situations.
Preferred Experience
