Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy to clients via live video sessions. This includes managing a diverse range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client, incorporating therapeutic techniques and interventions that work best for them.
• Educate clients on practical coping strategies and problem-solving tools, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment as required.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• Candidates must hold a valid and current license to practice in California (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) and either reside in California or be prepared to relocate.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, federal, state, and local laws concerning health and social welfare is essential.

Preferred Experience

While 3 years of experience is a minimum requirement, candidates with additional qualifications or specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care, child and adolescent therapy, or substance abuse counseling will be highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth practices and virtual therapy delivery is a significant plus.

Compensation and Benefits
