• Conduct intake sessions that include biopsychosocial assessments and medical necessity evaluations to determine client needs effectively.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans based on individual assessments that consider the client’s unique circumstances.
• Provide short-term and long-term counseling through innovative therapy techniques, allowing clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while promoting coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and submit documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other professionals and family members to coordinate care, ensuring a comprehensive support system for each client.
• Engage actively in clinical staff meetings, ongoing professional development, and individual supervision to continually hone your skills and enhance service delivery.
• Foster a positive therapeutic alliance with clients, establishing appropriate boundaries and demonstrating ethical standards of practice.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Senua Counseling Clinic, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals from various cultural backgrounds and different age groups, each presenting unique mental health challenges. • A Master's degree in a behavioral health science from an accredited institution is required.

• Experience in conducting biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and maintaining clinical progress notes is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain healthy client boundaries and adhere to ethical practice standards.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Oregon.
• Proficient organizational skills to manage documentation and client caseload responsibly under the supervision of the Clinic Director.

• Prior experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities is advantageous.
• A demonstrated passion for community involvement and efforts aimed at destigmatizing mental health issues.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team-based environment that prioritizes humor and authenticity.
