Position: Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Job Description:
Details of the role:
Need a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to work on Disaster Recovery (DR) initiative for different applications in the Cloud and onsite platforms. Individuals will be assigned to one or many application teams which they will help to establish DR design, implementation, troubleshooting and support DR test.
Key responsibilities:
  • Technical resource to the Cloud Enablement (CE) team.
  • Participate in project activities, including daily standups, status updates, pair programming and sprint planning.
  • Engage with architects to align work with best practices.
  • Primary responsibilities, but not limited to, are:
  • Migration/new build consultation to application teams.
  • Installing software as needed.
  • Configuring environments as needed.
  • Scripting/ Coding that may be required.
  • Troubleshooting errors as they arise.
  • Supporting the integration with external SaaS entities.
  • Supporting the DR guidance on multi-regional installation, configuration, integration, data transfers etc.
  • Creation of supporting documentation and guides.
  • Help to maintain standards and security policy
