Job description

Bilingual (Spanish) Senior Manager, Account Executive Operations (Remote Eligible)

The Senior Manager, Account Executive Operations provides operational business support for strategic business partners while directly leading and developing a high-performing team of operational professionals. This role balances hands-on operational leadership-including managing complex partner relationships, leading cross-functional process improvements, and overseeing strategic project rollouts-with people management responsibilities such as coaching, performance development, and resource allocation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operational professionals, managing performance goals, career growth plans, and day-to-day workload distribution

  • Manage unique and complex partners of strategic importance to the network, acting as the primary escalation point for critical, client-impacting issues

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on authorization and settlement applications, as well as other internal systems, tools, and products

  • Drive the full life-cycle of complex, cross-functional process improvements from prioritization through execution, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams

  • Identify and mitigate operational gaps across teams and systems to prevent common failure modes, ensuring requirements are thoroughly documented to reduce long-term risk

  • Analyze operational data and metrics to quantify performance, identify trends, and drive continuous department-wide improvements

  • Lead strategic department projects and support broader company initiatives, ensuring resources are aligned with corporate goals

  • Oversee and facilitate comprehensive training programs on tools, systems, and processes for both new and existing Account Executives

  • Client Engagement: This is a client-facing role requiring approximately 25% travel

Successful candidates will need to complete a Language Assessment

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 7 years of account management, operations or relationship management experience within the financial services or payments industry

  • At least 4 years of people leadership and performance management experience

  • Fluent in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 8+ years of account management, operations or relationship management experience within the financial services or payments industry

  • 5+ years of people leadership and performance management experience

  • Experience working with key players across targeted markets, including North America and Latin America

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Senior Manager Account Executive Operations


Remote (Regardless of Location): $161,500 - $184,300 for Senior Manager Account Executive Operations










Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
