• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, ensuring accurate documentation of each client's journey from the initial consultation to the completion of their treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, addressing the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to promote healing.
• Monitor client progress systematically and adapt treatment plans as necessary to optimize mental health outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, nurses, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with clients who have been hospitalized to ensure continuity of care and recovery support.
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and proactively address behaviors that may hinder progress, providing strategies for overcoming these obstacles.
• Assist families and primary caregivers in navigating mental and behavioral challenges, equipping them with coping strategies and resources.

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds, facing various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clinic emphasizes culturally competent care, ensuring that services are tailored to respect and reflect the diverse identities and needs of our client population. Your role in guiding this group towards recovery and mental wellness is crucial.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Demonstrated success in passing the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Established experience in mental health counseling with a strong clinical insight.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, to document sessions and maintain client records.
• Experience in managing clients with co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addictions.
• Knowledge of the best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and an understanding of prescribed medication effects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, displaying empathy and interpersonal effectiveness in interactions with clients and team members.

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, with the added incentive of a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
