• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history and develop tailored treatment modalities.
• Create individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience, ensuring they are adaptable to the evolving needs of the patient.
• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), while also staying informed on the latest therapeutic techniques.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering patients a safe space to process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and build a pathway towards healing.
• Engage in collaborative case management with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring holistic care that addresses both mental health and emotional well-being.
• Provide timely crisis intervention, offering support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, empowering them with knowledge and coping strategies.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.
• Continuously review and utilize current research in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

Your primary focus will be on individuals coping with challenges related to trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic events. You will work with a diverse demographic, including teens and adults, all of whom are seeking compassionate care as they work through complex emotional and psychological hurdles.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and a comprehensive grasp of trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Proficient skills in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, ensuring a stable environment for patients.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficient in relevant computer applications.
• Team-oriented mindset, eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff towards improved patient outcomes.

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates displaying significant passion for trauma-informed care and relevant internships will also be considered. Comprehensive training or experience in evidence-based practices for trauma treatment holds additional value.
