Position Overview

Life Reconcile Mental Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide essential therapeutic services to children and families throughout Dallas, Texas. Work Environment

This position is designed to be remote, providing the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions in-home or via teletherapy as required. The outpatient office setting allows for dynamic interaction with clients and team members when needed. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, consisting of skilled professionals who work collaboratively to create individualized support plans that address the diverse needs of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home and group therapy sessions focused on fostering emotional well-being and behavioral improvement.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques to teach anger management and coping strategies, while working to mitigate high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and physical aggression.
• Empower children and their caregivers by enhancing decision-making skills to better manage in-home behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate seamlessly with Child Family Treatment Teams and other professional disciplines to provide integrated support and treatment.
• Complete and submit necessary clinical documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, within designated timelines.
• Participate in monthly team meetings, sharing insights and making recommendations for ongoing care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on supporting a diverse population of children aged 3-20 who are experiencing developmental and intellectual disabilities. By providing individual and group therapy, you will work closely with primary caregivers to enhance their understanding and management of behavioral challenges, contributing to the overall development and emotional health of each child.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory.
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM), with additional weekend availability highly regarded.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are essential for conducting home visits.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing positive behavior support to children and adolescents.
• Prior work experience with youth who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
