Work Environment

This position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technology to reach patients in the comfort of their own homes. Our team embraces a work-life balance, with expected work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to uncover each patient's unique experiences and concerns, leading to the development of individualized treatment plans.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient’s insights, cultural context, and personal background.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health issues, enhancing the overall well-being of clients.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated mental health care.
• Deliver crisis interventions during mental health emergencies, providing immediate and appropriate support to those in distress.
• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and relevant community resources, empowering them on their path to recovery.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with necessary regulations.
• Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency workshops to enhance the therapeutic framework of our practice.
• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health therapy through continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches that are inclusive and culturally responsive.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy with a focus on cultural sensitivity.
• Solid crisis intervention skills and the ability to effectively manage high-stress situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to forge strong relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications necessary for the role.
• A commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and confidentiality at all times.
• An ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to offer holistic care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in telehealth settings, and familiarity with teletherapy methodologies.
• Prior involvement with diverse communities and experience in cultural competency training sessions.
• Knowledge of and experience in using culturally adapted interventions and therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
