Overview

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with clients, both internal and external, be detail oriented, and is driven to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
• Prepare more complex daily reconciliations, along with research and follow up on outstanding items
• Analyze reconciling items to provide clearing recommendations
• Complete daily MSP balancing report
• Analyze and record appropriate debit and credit adjustments in LoanCare's system of record
• Ensure all incoming wires and ach transactional detail is submitted to appropriate departments for clearing
• Provide weekly aging reports to appropriate departments for clearing
• Adhere to established procedures for compliance and efficiency to reduce outstanding items
• Responsible for the identification, accounting and reporting of information related to the reconciliations performed
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
• 2-5 years reconciliation experience required
• Experience with MSP, or other mortgage platforms preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Flexible and able to adapt to frequently changing processes and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must maintain strict confidentiality
