Position Summary
Western Colorado Radiologic Associates (WCRA) is seeking a remote diagnostic radiologist to provide evening and weekend coverage for our growing Colorado-based practice.
This independent contractor opportunity offers flexible remote work supporting a 310-bed Level II trauma center and affiliated outpatient imaging centers.
The role focuses on general diagnostic radiology across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Position Highlights:
  • Remote coverage
  • 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM MT
  • 6:00 PM MT
  • Independent contractor (1099)
  • $40 per RVU
  • General diagnostic case mix
  • No call requirements
The position supports a collegial group of 11 fellowship-trained radiologists serving the Western Slope of Colorado.
PRACTICE OVERVIEW
Western Colorado Radiologic Associates is a respected private practice based in Grand Junction, Colorado, providing imaging services to a 310-bed Level II trauma center and regional outpatient imaging centers.
The group is known for its collaborative culture, efficient workflows, and strong clinical partnerships throughout the Western Slope of Colorado.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Fellowship training preferred but not required
  • Comfortable interpreting general diagnostic radiology studies
  • Colorado medical license (or ability to obtain)

COMPENSATION:
  • $40 per RVU. Compensation range of $250,000-$380,000.
  • Total earnings vary based on productivity and case volume.
  • This position is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role.
