Job description

Position Overview

Refreshed Mind Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our innovative team. This full-time remote position offers the flexibility to craft your own hours while playing a vital role in providing support and mental health services to individuals within our detox center. The LCSW will work collaboratively with our skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver ethical and effective outpatient mental health therapy, ultimately contributing to the healing and recovery of our patients.

About the Organization

At Refreshed Mind Clinic, we are committed to transforming the mental health landscape by enhancing accessibility and promoting healing in a safe and inclusive environment. Our mission is rooted in respect, honesty, and relentless pursuit of excellence, allowing us to optimize care for our patients. We focus on building a culture where our team members feel empowered and valued, ensuring that both patients and staff thrive in a supportive atmosphere. As we expand our services, we remain devoted to community well-being and holistic health approaches.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a strong connection with your colleagues and patients through digital platforms. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team within a detox facility that prioritizes patient-centered care and evidence-based practices. This setting fosters a positive work culture where innovative ideas are welcomed, and professional development is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to identify patients' needs, create individual treatment plans, and establish therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and other health professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies that address both medical and psychosocial concerns.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including both individual and group therapies, to deliver high-quality care aimed at enhancing the patient's psychosocial functioning.
  • Ensure adherence to the NASW Code of Ethics and maintain professional standards while documenting all clinical interactions in patients' medical records.
  • Education and guide patients and families about available resources and treatment options, aiding their understanding of the conditions and fostering adherence to the care plan.
  • Assist in identifying community resources and advocating for patients' needs, working towards enhancing their support networks and addressing barriers to successful outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including participating in relevant training and staying updated on best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves individuals undergoing detoxification, a critical phase in recovery from substance use disorders. Our patient population often includes adults facing various challenges related to addiction, mental illness, and psychosocial stressors. Your expertise will be crucial in providing empathetic support and developing personalized interventions that address each patient's unique circumstances and promote their overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program is required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the Virginia Board of Social Work Licensure.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of psychosocial issues affecting diverse patient populations, with an emphasis on the aging process, human development, and cultural sensitivity in care.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a mental health or healthcare setting, preferably working with populations impacted by substance use disorders.
  • Proven expertise in conducting assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Skills in navigating community resources to enhance patient support systems are highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a robust benefits package which may include health insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a sign-on bonus for new hires. We are dedicated to investing in our team members' wellness and professional growth.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Refreshed Mind Clinic, we believe in continuous learning and career advancement. This role presents opportunities for professional development, including specialized training, attending workshops, and potential pathways for leadership positions within our organization. You will have the chance to participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and influencing organizational direction.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Refreshed Mind Clinic means becoming a part of a mission-driven organization where your contributions genuinely matter. You will work alongside a passionate group of professionals who share your commitment to improving mental health services and supporting individuals in their recovery journeys. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families while fostering a work environment that supports your personal and professional aspirations.
