Director of Global Payroll (Remote - DC Based)

Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a highgrowth, publicly traded technology organization to identify a Director of Global Payroll. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to build and lead the global payroll function as the company continues to scale.

The organization supports approximately 1,500 employees globally and is currently implementing Workday. This role is ideal for a seniorlevel global payroll leader with a buildfromscratch mindset who can operate both strategically and handson in a fastmoving environment.

Position Highlights
  • New role with full ownership of the global payroll function
  • Remote opportunity, with preference for candidates based in the DC area

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, design, and lead the global payroll function across multiple jurisdictions
  • Oversee global payroll operations, controls, and compliance
  • Partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and IT
  • Lead and support the Workday payroll implementation
  • Develop scalable processes and infrastructure to support rapid growth
  • Establish and grow the payroll team and external vendor relationships
  • Move beyond processing to create a bestinclass global payroll operation
