Job description

Job Title: Pulmonary Function Technologist (PFT)

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire

Pay Rate: $ 2300 To $ 2556 per week 

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Varied Shifts | 36 Hours 

Experience: Minimum 3 Years of Pulmonary Function Testing or Respiratory Therapy Experience Required

About the Role

The Pulmonary Function Technologist (PFT) performs pulmonary function testing, maintains and calibrates diagnostic equipment, supports pulmonary laboratory operations, and collaborates with physicians and the respiratory care team to provide accurate diagnostic testing and patient care. This role also assists with quality assurance, documentation, and respiratory therapy education.

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required

• NBRC Credential or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) credential required

• Current BLS Certification required

• Minimum 3 years of Pulmonary Function Testing or Respiratory Therapy experience preferred

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Technology program preferred

• Experience performing pulmonary function testing, pulmonary diagnostics, equipment calibration, quality control, and arterial blood gas laboratory support preferred

• EPIC EMR experience preferred
