• Conduct thorough, comprehensive assessments of new and existing patients to identify their unique mental health needs and establish tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community and address prevalent mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and coping with trauma.
• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic patient care aimed at improving mental health outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient sessions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Stay current with evolving research and therapeutic practices within the mental health field to continuously enrich the patient care experience.

Our diverse patient population includes individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, facing a range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. We prioritize a culturally competent approach that recognizes and respects the individuality and unique experiences of each patient.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in California.
• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and a robust knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Proven skills in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport quickly with diverse patient groups.
• Strong ethical standards and sound judgment in professional practice, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team setting, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration.

• A minimum of three years of experience providing individual and group therapy in a mental health setting.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or psychoeducational programs is a plus.
