• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, gathering comprehensive data to formulate personalized treatment plans based on clients’ needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective interventions.
• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups focused on mental health topics, fostering community among participants and encouraging shared experiences.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, coordinating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care that addresses all aspects of patient health.
• Provide prompt crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive the necessary care during critical moments.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources within the community, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Maintain impeccable documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities, team discussions, and case consultations to stay updated on industry best practices.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Griffin Healthcare Center, you will work with a diverse population of clients, including adults and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients may experience conditions such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and substance use issues. The diverse needs of our patients require a nuanced and empathetic approach to therapy, allowing you to tailor your interventions to promote their unique paths to recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and a broad range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy to a culturally diverse clientele.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to establish rapport and professional boundaries with clients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications for documentation and communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a cohesive and effective care delivery model.

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Experience working with clients facing substance use disorders is highly valued.
• Demonstrated capability in leading psychoeducational groups.
• Exposure to telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery.
