Hope Care and Counseling Center in Babylon, New York, is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to fill full-time positions as Licensed Mental Health Counselors. This position is primarily remote, allowing mental health professionals to operate from their own locations within New York State. Our telehealth facility provides state-of-the-art technology to deliver high-quality care efficiently. Counselors will have access to a collaborative online platform where they can engage with multidisciplinary teams, helping to coordinate effective patient care while ensuring work-life balance.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments via video consultations to tailor treatment plans that meet the specific needs of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to guide therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate remote psychoeducational workshops and support groups, helping participants learn coping strategies and reinforce their commitment to mental health.
• Collaborate extensively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services to patients in acute mental health crises, offering immediate support and resources as required.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) while adhering to strict legal and ethical guidelines concerning patient confidentiality.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Our center serves a broad spectrum of clients, including those facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use challenges. Counselors will engage with patients of all ages, from children to seniors, adapting therapeutic approaches to fit individual developmental and cognitive levels, thus ensuring sensitive and responsive care.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, along with familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to develop rapport with diverse populations.

• Experience working in outpatient settings or telehealth environments preferred.
• Familiarity with common therapeutic tools and technologies utilized in remote counseling.
• Prior experience in crisis counseling or urgent mental health support is a plus.
