• Design, implement, and regularly update tailored treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques in crisis management scenarios to ensure client safety and emotional stability.
• Collect and document patient data meticulously to monitor progress, inform treatment decisions, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Four Winds Therapy, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your role will involve addressing developmental considerations across various life stages, particularly in pediatric mental health care settings. The clientele often presents with complex needs, requiring trauma-informed care strategies and collaborative planning with other health professionals to facilitate comprehensive treatment.

• A Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related mental health field.
• Current Licensure in Washington State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Associate (LMHC-A).
• At least one year of professional experience in behavioral or mental health settings.
• Solid foundation in trauma-informed care principles and familiarity with evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

• Prior experience in integrating professional psychedelic therapy into practice is a plus.
• Familiarity with developmental considerations in mental health care for children and adolescents.
• Strong communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with patients and collaboration with the community.
• Expertise in data collection methods and mental health documentation practices.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes:
