Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Provide immediate support in crisis situations by employing de-escalation techniques and facilitating interventions.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient encounters, treatment progress, and data collection to inform future clinical decisions.
• Ensure a safe and confidential telehealth environment that fosters trust and therapeutic rapport.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Four Winds Therapy, you will be working with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults. A significant focus of your practice will involve understanding and addressing the specific developmental considerations and mental health challenges faced by these various groups. Your role serves a critical function in promoting long-term mental well-being and resilience among clients in our community.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Current licensure in Washington State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Associate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-A).
• A foundational understanding of trauma-informed care and a commitment to ongoing education in contemporary counseling methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of counseling experience in behavioral or mental health settings.
• Experience with pediatric mental health care, demonstrating an understanding of developmental factors across the lifespan.
• Familiarity with integrating professional psychedelic counseling practices within therapy settings, if applicable.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with both clients and the broader community.
• Proficiency in utilizing documentation systems and technology relevant to teletherapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually.
