This position is entirely remote, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while still making a significant impact on the lives of those in need. Our detox center environment requires flexibility, as therapists are expected to accommodate different client schedules, including some evening and weekend hours. All interactions are conducted through secure digital platforms, ensuring privacy and confidentiality in all client communications.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of each client's mental health concerns and support systems.
• Deliver individualized therapy sessions, including family and group therapy, using evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to develop and implement comprehensive, client-centered treatment plans that are regularly evaluated and updated.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment for clients facing acute challenges, ensuring a safe and structured approach to immediate care.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups to foster community and shared experiences among clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts.

The successful candidate will work predominantly with individuals struggling with substance use issues and co-occurring mental health disorders within our detox center. Our clients vary in age, background, and circumstances; therefore, a nuanced understanding of psychological, social, and cultural factors is essential in tailoring the therapeutic approach to meet each client's unique needs.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is mandatory.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a commitment to delivering high-quality mental health care.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients and collaboration with team members.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health or outpatient settings, preferably with experience in detox or substance use treatment environments.
• Proficient in digital tools and electronic health record systems that facilitate remote care.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and experience implementing them in practice.
