Provider Enrollment Specialist

Position Overview

BetterHelp is seeking detail-oriented Provider Enrollment Specialists to support healthcare provider enrollment activities. This role focuses on managing enrollment requests, tracking application statuses, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating with providers throughout the enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage provider enrollment processes with various insurance payers.
  • Review daily email communications for application approvals, requests, and status updates.
  • Track and update enrollment statuses using spreadsheets and internal systems.
  • Submit requests and complete enrollment-related actions once provider authorization is obtained.
  • Contact providers to obtain missing information or required documentation.
  • Follow up on submitted applications approximately every 15 days.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of enrollment activities.
  • Handle a high volume of requests, typically between 20 and 70 requests per day.
  • Use templated email responses while maintaining professional communication.
  • Follow established outreach and follow-up processes.
  • Verify requests are appropriate and complete before processing.
  • Assist with both standard enrollments and more complex new provider enrollment cases.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or healthcare administration.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, email, and internal systems.
Preferred Qualifications

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
