Raytheon / An RTX Business Department has an excellent opportunity within the Land & Air Defense Systems (L&ADS) organization for a Principal Specialist, Supply Chain Proposal Analyst. The position is a highly valued pricing position within a dynamic organization focused on creating and supporting Cost Volume and Pricing efforts.  The Principal Specialist, Supply Chain Proposal Analyst position requires contact and coordination with many proposal team members, which could include subcontractors, customers, and management.  The ability to develop and understand simple and/or complex Microsoft® Excel® cost models to support proposal efforts is a key function for proposal development and Gate reviews discussions.

What You Will Do

  • Planning and scheduling cost proposals

  • Coordination of cost, schedule, and technical data for the development of the proposal in line with the specifications of the Request for Proposal (RFP)

  • Collection and accumulation of cost data in coordination with the proposal team as well as functional departments

  • Researching and analyzing historical data from similar past performance programs

  • Assist in the developing of cost models and strategies associated with the bid/proposal

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office®, specifically Microsoft® Excel®

  • Experience with Pricing Tools used in cost development (e.g., QuickBooks®, Cost-OS®, Unison True Planning®, etc.)

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and/or other Government Procurement/ Costing regulations

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong background in proposal management and development, cost development, BOE development, and reading/writing/responding to RFIs and RFPs is essential

  • Familiarity with the full business development lifecycle for US federal contractors

  • Ability to work independently and within a proposal team environment in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience supporting cost volume development teams

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
