OnePoint Human Capital Management is a leading, enterprise-level, human capital management (HCM), software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider for mid-sized employers. Our integrated cloud platform offers comprehensive solutions for human resources, benefit enrollment, leave of absence management, time and labor management, and payroll.
Position Summary:
Create and build new client relationships, as well as channel and referral partners. Maintain existing client relationships and develop new opportunity within existing client base. Assist in developing and facilitating the proposal process for specific clients/prospects including pricing development, proposal writing, contract negotiations, and client presentations.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Market to existing leads and develop new leads in assigned territory using various methods to include: telemarketing, cold calling, mail, and e-mail.
  • Schedule and conduct analysis of required services
  • Perform presentations to prospects and clients including software demonstrations
  • Assists in formulating standard/routine proposals in conjunction with team members and various functional groups.
  • Assists in developing a budget and price estimate using standard models.
  • Assists in developing project plans and in defining roles and responsibilities and the scope of work for each project with input from sponsors, project leaders, principal investigators, and functional groups.
  • Drafts narratives tying project components together. Packages and assists in presenting the proposal to the prospect.
  • Communicates back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group (i.e. clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations).
  • Collaborates with the Operations and Accounting to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals.
  • Tracks and reports on the status of all proposal components.
  • Establishes and maintains on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems. Participates in site visits.
  • Supports other Business Development Team members as needed.
  • Participates in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.

Sales Quota:
  • This is a Quota based position.
  • Monthly and YTD Quota goals must be met.
  • Employee is required to be at a minimum of 75% of YTD quota at all times.

Travel:
The position is required to travel outside markets in support of remote sales positions, trade shows, and other events. Travel expenses are reimbursable on an approval basis.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, science or other related discipline or Associate's Degree and related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in industry business development and/or research and development arena.
  • Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
