Job Description:
A leading nationwide insurance carrier is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Defense Trial Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in handling insurance defense litigation, particularly in trial settings. This role requires strong litigation expertise, comprehensive knowledge of California laws, and excellent trial advocacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company in insurance defense litigation, including conducting trials, hearings, depositions, and motion practice.
  • Develop and implement defense strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Handle complex cases involving personal injury, property damage, and other claims covered under insurance policies.
  • Collaborate with claims professionals, insureds, and experts to assess legal strategies and ensure optimal defense.
  • Manage all aspects of trial preparation, including discovery, legal research, and drafting of pleadings and motions.
  • Provide legal advice and risk assessments to internal stakeholders regarding potential litigation and trial exposure.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a member in good standing with the California State Bar.
