This position is 100% remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while actively contributing to our patient-centered care model. You will engage regularly with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, through virtual meetings and collaborative tools. The structure of remote counseling sessions allows you to leverage digital platforms for therapy and case management, ensuring efficient and effective support to your clients.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine individual patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions via virtual platforms, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's situation.
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team, including case managers, psychiatrists, and primary care providers, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Respond to mental health crises with timely and effective interventions, utilizing crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations and clinic policies.
• Engage in regular case reviews and professional development sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and clinic practices.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Relate Therapy, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other disorders. Our patient population ranges from children to adults, each requiring personalized therapeutic strategies to help them navigate their unique circumstances. Your role is critical in fostering trust and rapport with clients, essential for effective therapeutic outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, therapist, or equivalent credential in California.
• Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Proficiency in remote counseling technologies and electronic health record systems.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling, preferably in remote or clinic settings.
• Demonstrated experience in crisis management and complex case handling.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral systems in mental health.
