Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive individual and group counseling sessions tailored to client needs, fostering a safe and supportive environment for self-exploration and healing.
• Perform thorough mental health assessments to identify symptoms, strengths, and challenges, and collaboratively develop personalized care plans in conjunction with patients.
• Facilitate coordination of care with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment and optimal outcomes.
• Act promptly during mental health crises by employing evidence-based interventions and resources, advocating for patients’ immediate needs.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and patient interactions in accordance with confidentiality standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or an equivalent credential in the state of California is mandatory for practice.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
