Responsibilities:
- Scan requested medical records for scheduled and STAT appointments according to established time frames.
- Access patient index, clinic scheduling, chart tracking systems, and manual systems to prep and scan records.
- Verify patient records numbers as necessary.
- Provide quality assurance for prepped and scanned documents.
- Contribute to teamwork and perform other duties as required by the position.
- Follow established department and Institute policies, procedures, and work rules.
- Follow established schedules of chemo and loose material pickup at various clinics.
- Processes charts ordered from offsite facility according to appointment date.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of data entry experience
- 1-2 years experience in a clerical setting preferably in healthcare or a high production environment.
- Computer, data entry and proofreading skills.
- Ability to index and file electronically.
Additional Requirements
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm EST

- Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
