Senior Security Project Manager โ€“ Cybersecurity & AI Readiness (Contract)

Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Report To: Director, Enterprise PMO
Eligibility: Due to Federal Project regulations, US Citizenship is required for this role

Wright Technical Services is proud to represent a highly respected Fortune 500 global manufacturing for this position. We are seeking an experienced Security Project Manager to support the Mythos Readiness Program, a high-priority cybersecurity initiative focused on improving enterprise security readiness through coordinated execution across multiple IT and security workstreams.

This role will drive planning, execution, dependency management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination across Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Identity, Endpoint, and Enterprise Application teams. The ideal candidate is an execution-focused project manager with experience delivering cybersecurity, infrastructure, or enterprise technology programs in complex environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 8โ€“10 years of IT project or program management experience.
  • Proven experience delivering cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, identity, network, or enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs involving multiple technical teams.
  • Strong project planning, scheduling, dependency management, and risk management skills.
  • Experience driving execution in matrixed organizations without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to translate technical discussions into actionable plans, milestones, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Planner, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity readiness, vulnerability remediation, infrastructure modernization, or enterprise security programs.
  • Familiarity with security domains including:
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
    • Endpoint Security
    • Network Security
    • Cloud Security
    • Vulnerability Management
    • Security Governance and Risk Management
  • Experience supporting AI governance, AI security, AI readiness, or responsible AI initiatives.
  • Familiarity with security considerations related to Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, Large Language Models (LLMs), and enterprise data protection.
  • PMP, Agile, SAFe, Scrum, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple cybersecurity and technology workstreams within the Mythos program.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
  • Coordinate delivery across Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Identity, and Application teams.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate program and project risks, issues, and blockers.
  • Drive accountability and facilitate resolution of cross-functional dependencies.
  • Conduct working sessions, status reviews, and readiness checkpoints.
  • Maintain RAID logs, action registers, and governance documentation.
  • Provide concise executive reporting and escalation support.
  • Ensure successful delivery of readiness milestones and program objectives.
