Position Summary 

The Project Manager is responsible for partnering with business and technical teams in establishing project teams and providing overall direction for the technology development components of projects from initiation through to delivery. 

Essential Functions 

  • Manage telecommunications and voicerelated projects, including coordination with vendors and internal teams
  • Support implementations or upgrades related to voice, conferencing, or communication platforms

  • Create and manage project charters, scope statements, project plans, Gantt charts, governance plans, team roles/responsibilities, and kickoff materials. 
  • Gather requirements from end users and stakeholders to define objectives, goals, scope, technical specifications, workflows, and business use cases. 
  • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, run meetings, manage agendas and minutes, and escalate risks as needed. 
  • Maintain project documentation repositories and best-practice deliverables. 
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to project team members while managing stakeholder expectations. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance. 

Additional Information 

The position serves internal employees and external clients including patients, vendors, contractors, and partners. The role requires access to sensitive and confidential information and an understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements such as HIPAA. 

Education 

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. 

Experience 

  • Minimum 5 years of related project management experience.
  • Experience managing and owning telecom/voice projects 
  • At least 3 years implementing major software systems within healthcare or ERP environments. 
  • Experience using structured deployment methodologies and leading small projects or workstreams on larger initiatives. 
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office. 

Certifications 

PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.
