Job description

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world. This is a remote opportunity for the following locations: CO, FL, IN, MI, MO, NE, NC, OH, SC, TN, WI and AZ with opportunities for in-office work at one of our office locations if preferred.

You'll change the shape of your community by charting plans that become tomorrow's places, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Survey team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Prepare various land surveys, focusing on construction layout and as-builts, as well as ALTA, boundary, and topographic.
  • Oversee and manage survey projects from setup through completion.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Bid new projects and create/write proposals.

We're looking for:

  • Minimum of 7 years of land surveying experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with experience in construction calculations, boundary, and topographic surveys preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Professional licensure in Indiana is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
