Job description

Acuity is seeking a Project Manager to lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery of single or multiple projects with strong commitment to enterprise strategy and business problem solving. This role will manage complex projects from vision to requirement definition through deployment; outline clear scope, estimate budget and resource needs, construct project and implementation plans, and partner with Acuity leaders to establish comprehensive communication and change management plans. The Project Manager will coordinate and guide internal and external resources to ensure that projects align with business objectives and adhere to schedules and budgets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Lead and ensure the successful delivery of complex projects, aligning closely with enterprise strategy and focused on solving key business problems.
  • Facilitate the development of project business cases, scope, objectives/metrics, and deliverables in collaboration with senior business leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Create a sense of urgency in decision making, task completion, and value delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, critical path schedules, and budgets; allocate resources effectively to meet project goals.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, agents, vendors, and leadership.
  • Ensure consistent use of project management best practices and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate team collaboration by ensuring clarity on objectives, roles, and responsibilities across project team members.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement meetings to gather feedback, resolve concerns, and maintain alignment with project goals.
  • Establish and maintain standards for project documentation and reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate critical concerns as appropriate.
  • Monitor project progress, health, and performance, track milestones, and provide regular, transparent updates to stakeholders.
  • Apply strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative solution design throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support team performance, build trust, and positively influence project outcomes.
  • Conduct post-project lessons learned to improve future project outcomes.
  • Highly regular and predictable attendance.
  • Periodic travel may be required for industry or technology conferences, and training/professional development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or extensive direct experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years experience in executing complex or strategic organizational projects; certification in Project Management preferred.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of sound project management practices, including both traditional and agile frameworks.
  • Works effectively with stakeholders, customers, and resources from varied disciplines.
  • Excels in verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions.

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
