  • Visit customer facilities and project sites throughout your assigned territory.
  • Prepare transportation and disposal quotations that are accurate, competitive, and profitable.
  • Coordinate with environmental disposal facilities and internal operations.
  • Work closely with Dispatch to ensure complete project information is transferred before work begins.
  • Follow projects through completion and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and long-term partnerships.
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity within the company CRM.
  • Represent R Transport professionally at customer meetings, industry events, and job sites.
Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Communicates exceptionally well.
  • Thinks like a project manager.
  • Understands logistics and transportation.
  • Enjoys solving problems.
  • Is organized and detail-oriented.
  • Can prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Takes ownership and follows through.

Environmental, transportation, construction, industrial services, or waste industry experience is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Requirements

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of customer relationship, operations, logistics, project management, or transportation experience in the environmental space.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to analyze projects and prepare profitable quotes.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
  • Strong experience in RCRA, Special and dangerous waste logistics in the PNW

This is a remote, field-based position. The successful candidate will work from a home office within their assigned territory while spending significant time visiting customers, job sites, disposal facilities, and R Transport locations.

Regular travel is expected throughout the assigned territory, including frequent visits to our operations in:

  • Arlington, Washington
  • Tacoma, Washington
  • Kelso, Washington
  • Spokane, Washington

Occasional overnight travel may be required depending on customer and project needs.
