Renewable energy continues to expand and we want you to be a part of it!Nor-Cal Controlsprovides controls solutions for utility-scale renewable energy power plants and we are looking for anAutomation Engineer IIto join our talented team! As anAutomation Engineer II, you will take ownership of assigned projects, with specific focus on successful commissioning. You will also be responsible for initial project design, customer reviews, design implementation, testing, and troubleshooting. This role is open to in-office, hybrid work, or remote options with a starting salary range of $120,000 - $135,000 annually*.

What will a successful Automation Engineer accomplish in the first year?

Preferred experience:

  • Engineering B.S. degree (Automation, Controls, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar), or equivalent experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience designing and developing SCADA systems for utility-scale solar PV projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of SCADA, process instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Possesses a positive "can do" attitude and a strong motivation to learn and excel.
