Inner Calm Progressive Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our innovative team. • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients' mental health needs, ensuring an accurate understanding of their circumstances.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches.
• Provide one-on-one counseling as well as group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their challenges and foster personal growth.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the protection of client privacy.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health treatment, contributing to the enhancement of your skills and knowledge.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Inner Calm Progressive Therapy, you will engage with clients facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and addiction. • A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation in the state of Florida is required.
• A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions within a mental health setting.
• Proficiency in various evidence-based therapeutic techniques specialized for mental health treatment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling rapport building with a diverse client population.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting or community mental health center.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and practice.
• Previous involvement in treatment planning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking patient progress.
